INTENSE EARTHQUAKE SWARM IN YELLOWSTONE CALDERA The Yellowstone Caldera erupted about 640,000 years ago in a “super volcano” that produced 240 cubic miles of ash distributed in a radial pattern from Lava Creek around the caldera. Seismologists continue to monitor the data and will issue new information if the situation warrants it. The upward movement of the Yellowstone caldera floor – almost 3 inches per year since 2004 – is more than three times greater than ever observed since such measurements began in 1923. _____________________________________________________________________ |

METEOR STREAKING ACROSS CANADIAN SKY CAUGHT ON VIDEO Hundreds of people witnessed a meteor lighting up the evening sky over Edmonton, Alberta, last week, and the spectacular fireball was even caught on tape by unsuspecting videographers. UFO OVER THE M5 MOTORWAY >>> added 2/7/2008 A Royal Navy aircraft engineer claims to have seen a "glowing" UFO hover over the M5 motorway. Michael Madden, 25, said he watched in disbelief as the disc-shaped object floated above his head before it "zoomed off at incredible speed". He said the unidentified flying object flew for up to three minutes above junction 21 of the M5, near Weston-super-Mare, Somerset. 'ARROWHEAD' UFO SPOTTED, UK >>> added 5/1/2008 A mysterious “flying Dorito-shaped” object which was seen by dozens of people just before Christmas has been spotted again – this time in the skies above Lower Gornal.The strange unexplained flying object was seen by residents in Wallows Wood, off The Straits, at around 6.15pm on Tuesday. Householders described the object as looking like an “arrowhead” with three orange lights arranged in the shape of an isosceles triangle. Residents watched it move slowly across the sky before it disappeared from view in the direction of Wolverhampton.
